California Rural Indian Health Board Inc. Project Pathway
Community-based approaches to the prevention and treatment of HIV in communities throughout the US are desperately needed. This 5-year evaluation explored the value, outcomes, impact and lessons learned in 11 Tribal communities throughout California. Our results show that evidence-based interventions like Community Promise are effective, and that continued efforts are needed to continue prevention work using youth-focused, community-driven approaches.
