SBRRC Medication Assisted Treatment 2022 Annual Report
Our work with Spotted Bull Resource Recovery Center shows the world that culturally-adapted treatment and recovery programs are effective. In this report we summarize data and performance measures related to primary outcomes, 1) Provide MAT services to opioid use disorder (OUD) clients, and 2) provide peer recovery support services within a community recovery setting while supporting sobriety. Outcomes from this annual evaluation demonstrate SBRRC's progress toward these objectives and include key program accomplishments from the committed staff and community on the Fort Peck Reservation. Some challenges identified in the evaluation of SBRRC's MAT program include lack of information about MAT, suboxone abuse, lack of program completion, and COVID-19 impacts on service delivery and staffing. This evaluation echoed what we already know. MAT works , culture heals, and the community supports a recovery generation.
