Intern, Kaden Martin, joined the AKA team this past month. We are so excited about all the creativity and talent he will bring to our team. Kaden's passion for illustration and design is a vital part of who he is and we look forward to his creative talents helping to tell our client's stories.
If you could invite three people to dinner - living, dead, fictional, or real - who would they be?
First, Stan Lee, the creator of Marvel Comics and writer of many old comics. He has been a hero of mine for years! I'd love to pick his brain and understand where his creativity comes from.
Second, I would love to meet Leonardo Da Vinci. He not only was an amazing artist but a brilliant inventor as well. A lot of our technology today was based on some of his designs!
Third, I want to meet some of my modern-day heroes, like Jake Parker. I would invite him to dinner so I could discuss how he came up with his concepts for creativity.
If you could instantly learn any skill, what would it be?
I would learn how to use inking tools in comics the way professionals do. I am currently developing this skill, but it would definitely be helpful to learn it immediately!
What is your message to the world?
Creativity is one of the most important tools that we as humans could have! Our Creator made this Earth with creativity that we couldn't even fathom. We innately have the same creativity and can make amazing things! I don't think that anyone should ever talk about themselves as not being a creative person, because words are powerful!
Everyone has the ability to create, it just takes allowing yourself to do little things that express your creativity.
