Social determinants of incidence, outcomes, and interventions of cardiovascular disease risk factors in American Indians and Alaska Natives

This publication presents a decolonizing framework for addressing the structural determinants of cardiovascular disease using social determinants of health lens. Public health interventions to address health disparities must consider unequal access and differential effects stemming from structural and institutional inequities.
