ANNIE HATLEY
AKA Graduate Intern
Annie Hatley is set to complete her MPH in Global Health from Liberty University in December 2023. She contributes to policy briefs, manages grant resources, and conducts literature reviews at her graduate intern position with AKA. Her introduction to public health work in Tribal communities came during the critical period of the COVID-19 pandemic as a disease investigator doing case investigation and contact tracing. Subsequently, she advanced to become a CDC Tribal liaison officer and coordinated remote technical guidance and deployment of subject matter experts. She looks forward to exploring more opportunities in public health after earning her MPH degree.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Annie enjoys watching crime documentaries, snuggling with her dogs, and spending quality time with her husband.
