BRIGHTEN CRAWFORD

Brighten Crawford is a member of Fort Peck Assiniboine and Sioux tribes. She is currently going to school full-time at Brigham Young University Idaho. Brighten plans to get her bachelor's degree in Public Health with an emphasis in Health Education and Promotion. She also plans on getting two certificates with her degree, a CHES certificate and a Community Health Planning and Implementation certificate.

Brighten is thrilled to be doing hands-on work through the AKA internship. She is learning and expanding skills in data collection, program evaluation, community prevention, communication, collaboration, and much more. Brighten has a passion to learn and grow in empathy towards others. She feels this is the best internship for her to do both of those things.
