THOMASINA WHIPPLE
Community Associate
Thomasina Whipple, is a proud member of the Santee Sioux Nation and recently joined AKA as a Community Associate serving Lake County, California. She earned her Associates of Science in Business at Nebraska Indian Community College and her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Haskell Indian Nations University.
She is passionate about public health data analysis and addressing health disparities within Tribal communities. Her work focuses on data management and analyzing health-related data to support stronger, healthier Native communities through evaluation, reporting, and community health initiatives. She is especially interested in expanding her knowledge in program evaluation, grant reporting, and developing new skills in data analysis and public health work.
Her future goals include pursuing a Master of Public Health with an emphasis on data science. As a mother of two children, she is deeply committed to improving the health and well-being of Tribal communities for future generations.
